Suzanne Neville is the go-to bridal designer if you want a slinky, sexy and ultra-sculpting wedding dress. Her beautifully structured designs have gained many celebrity fans including Kate Winslet, Tess Daly and Tulisa. But there’s one person she’d still like to dress…

suzanne-nevilleWhich celebs have you dressed in 2012?

To name few! 🙂 Katherine Jenkins, Kate Winslet, Elle MacPhearson, Leona Lewis, Victoria Pendleton, Tess Daly, Darcey Bussell and Tulisa.

Who was the easiest to work with?

We have created so many dresses for Katherine Jenkins and Tess Daly we know exactly how to work together to achieve what they want and this always makes things easier.

Which was your favourite design?

I couldn’t really choose a favourite, we all have so much fun creating one off pieces every one is unique…

What are the key trends for evening and party wear in 2013?

For 2013 I think we’ll see a return to simple well-cut gowns. Slinky bias-cut gown with low-cut backs will make another appearance. Colours to look out for are Coral and Wine, and I think we’ll see sheer mesh replacing the lace detail that has been so popular this last year.

Carol Vorderman also loves Suzanne Neville designs. How do you get the balance right between style and age?

Women of all ages can wear Suzanne Neville, it’s all about understanding what flatters your figure. Older ladies can wear sexy, figure-hugging gowns if they have the figure and confidence to pull it off.

Holly Willoughby loves your dresses. She’s a curvy girl – what styles suit her figure best?

Holly has a wonderful figure, she is very hourglass so it suits her best when we put her in corseted gown that really define her waist and support her bust. Holly is a fantastic model for Suzanne Neville gowns, she always looks beautiful.

You created many of the dresses for Katherine Jenkins recent TV special. Some had a 1920’s feel – do think this is going to be a big trend for 2013?

Katherine’s dresses were created with a 1920’s/1930’s feel especially for the program. However I think there is always a strong link to these eras with each season as they were such glamourous times.

What was the inspiration behind Tulisa’s leather X Factor dress?

The inspiration behind Tulisa’s dress was simply to create something that she loved, was young and fun and that flattered her figure. The dress was created early on in the season but she loved it so much she saved it for the final!

Tell us about Victoria Pendleton’s Military Awards dress…

Victoria has such an amazing figure she fits our sample dresses perfectly so she just borrowed one for the evening, the dress was a scarlet silk satin bias cut gown with diamante detail at neckline.

Elle MacPhearson also borrowed a gown for that evening, hers was a structured fishtail gown with flower detail on skirt, in a black chiffon over gold satin.

Who would you love to dress that you haven’t as yet?

Emily Blunt is one of my favourite actresses, I think she always looks very classy so I would like to dress her.
