Your wedding ceremony set up will be the first glimpse of your wedding day style that your guests will get to witness…

Whether you choose to tie the knot inside a country mansion or a barn conversion, you’ll be sure to find a theme, colour scheme or style to suit your venue at Bijou Weddings.

At Bijou, we love that we’re able to offer couples the opportunity to get married at any one of our luxurious, exclusive use wedding venues. Our licensed wedding ceremony rooms all feature elegant Chiavari chairs, plenty of space for wedding guests to sit, and the added benefit of a webcam, so that friends and family who are unable to attend the wedding for one reason or another, can tune in to witness ‘I dos’.

As each couple is so unique, we wanted to share a variety of different wedding ceremony styles, with the added benefit of being able to take a virtual tour around each room so that your really feel as if you’re in the venue.

Glamorous Wedding Ceremony: Botleys Mansion, Surrey

Botleys Mansion oozes style and glamour from the moment you enter the gates at the bottom of the driveway.

There are two rooms in which to host a lavish wedding ceremony at Botleys Mansion. The elegant Green Room which has been beautifully decorated with pastel green and white hues throughout. Or, the lavish Atrium which can seat up to 380 guests if you’re looking for a wedding venue with a large capacity. Petals scattered down either side of the aisle can add to the glamour of the pretty Green Room, and in the Atrium, bunches of brilliant white hydrangea sat sideways on top of tall cylinder vases look nothing other than divine.

The grand staircase leading down to the Atrium is a wow-factor in itself, but adorned with an array of beautiful flowers, this one-of-a-kind staircase could make your bridal entrance the best that any of your guests would have ever seen!

Rustic Romance: Cain Manor, Surrey-Hampshire border

Cain Manor is Bijou’s delightful barn-style, country house wedding venue.

The views across the Surrey countryside are simply breath-taking and when it comes to styling your aisle, we love champagne organza sashes on white Chiavari chairs set up on either side of the large and airy Music Room. Add a subtle fragrance and a hint of colour by tying beautiful (and affordable) over-sized bunches of gypsophilia to the side of each chair. Then, to continue with your romantic theme, line your aisle with rows of gypsophilia, not forgetting to add ostentatious detail to the top of your aisle too!

Country House Chic: Silchester House, Berkshire

Silchester House is Bijou’s pretty venue, which is known for throwing a great party – all year round.

The on-site marquee is an added bonus when it comes to your wedding banquet, but in terms of your wedding ceremony, there is so much you can do in the gorgeous Music Room. Crystal Chiavari wedding chairs lend themselves perfectly to any colour scheme in this room, but we think that a floral theme with rustic greenery looks ideal. Add a touch of elegance by tying a silk ribbon around the leg of each chair to complete the stylish aisle.

Historic Grandeur: Notley Abbey, Buckinghamshire-Oxfordshire border

The Bijou collection of wedding venues wouldn’t be complete without our historic gem located close to the border of Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.

There are two delightful rooms in which to host your wedding ceremony at Notley Abbey, depending on the size of your guest list. The Abbot’s Hall and The Monks’ Refectory are both completely unique, but individually lend themselves perfectly to a ceremony at any time of year.
The wooden chairs in The Abbot’s Hall make it easy to attach bunches of beautiful blooms; we especially like romantic roses and a subtle scattering of cream rose petals to complete the romantic vibe.

The Monks’ Refectory is a large, cool, open space in which to hold memorable nuptials. Tall vases filled with twigs of cherry blossom and large hydrangea heads could look just wonderful lined at the back of your aisle or down each side to create a dramatic effect.

If you love the idea of hosting your wedding at any one of Bijou’s elegant wedding venues then be sure to request a brochure or give them a call to book in viewing.
