The Swiss Cottage British Heart Foundation (BHF) shop has recently received a donation of 30 brand new designer wedding dresses. The gowns were donated by a high-end boutique in London and will be sold for around £200-500 each.
The boutique donated the dresses, which could have been worth £4,000-6,000 when bought brand new, after having a clear out. The dresses are from a range of designers, including Oscar de la Renta, Peter Langner, Carlos Miele and Monique L’huillier.
The designer wedding gowns will be sold at an affordable £200-500 each in the Swiss Cottage BHF shop. They are available now, but due to lack of hanging space, customers will need to request to try them on as they will not be on display. Profit from the sale of the items will go towards the fight for every heartbeat.
Richard Fletcher, BHF Area Manager, said: “We’re really thrilled with this generous donation of designer dresses. It’s fantastic that we’re able to offer our customers good quality items at such great value. Hopefully we’ll be able to help some brides-to-be have an extra special wedding day.
“It just goes to show the great types of items that can be found in our shops – it’s like Aladdin’s cave! We’d urge anyone who has things lying around their house that they no longer want to call our free collection service or pop in and donate them to us.”
The Swiss Cottage shop is always in need of donations and is located at 6 Harben Parade, Finchley Road, Swiss Cottage, London, NW3 6JP. To find out more about the wedding dresses or to book a free collection service for unwanted items, call 020 7586 6950.
