About the Couple
Keisha and Morris met at school in the Cayman Islands, after her best friend started dating Morris's twin brother, Maurice. "Morris was my first boyfriend, then I had to leave for university, but for 11 years we met up as friends every holiday," Keisha says. "Then one New Year's Eve, sparks flew!" Despite living an ocean apart - Keisha in Grand Cayman, Morris in Jamaica - they made it work and Morris then moved to Grand Cayman.
The bride's outfit
Keisha's ivory strapless dress was a brilliant find from David's Bridal, Tampa. "I love my dress; I wish I could wear it again!".
"Morris proposed at my 30th birthday... I was crying so much, I was crying so much, I couldn't hear what he was saying!"
The groom's outfit
Morris's sharp suit was form Mens Wearhouse.
The bridesmaids
Keisha's bridesmaids wore Champagne straples gowns, also from Davids Bridal.
The flowers
Keisha's colleagues ordered her flowers from Holland and Costa Rica for a chic wedding day look.
The ceremony
Keisha's childhood church was the perfect setting. "My high school choir sang, and we travelled to the ceremony in my uncle's Toyota Hiace van that we all travelled to parties in as kids." Keisha's boss, Jo-Anne Brown, of Celebrations Ltd.
The reception
Held in a tent in a friend's garden, Keisha and Morris's reception was just magical. Guests dined on traditional Jamaican cuisine, with an extra buffet of jerk chicken and pork served at 1am, and ackee and saltfish served at 5am!.
"We spent our wedding night in the Presidential Suite and were upgraded for the whole holiday!"
The cake
An impressive five-tier cake, made up of round and square layers, decorated with blossom, roses and twigs. Ann Ogden, also from Celebrations Ltd, made it in Grand Cayman and staff carried a layer each as their hand luggage!.
The honeymoon
Both have yet to take the tie off - "it's wedding season!"
