Katherine Ashdown Photography
Katherine is a marvelous photographer based in Norfolk, whose style is both contemporary, relaxed, and most importantly fun! Her images are emotive, timeless and exciting, and she can often be seen gracing the pages of Wedding Ideas’ real wedding section.
Katherine focuses on capturing your wedding day in a natural, romantic and reportage style, to ensure the intimacy and atmosphere of your big day is captured in a beautiful yet unobtrusive way.
Also, her cat Mally is a total cutie, follow Katherine on Twitter and you’ll definitely get to see him!
Sam Gibson Photography
With a background in documentary film making for the BBC, Sam certainly knows how to capture and record all the emotion and romance of your big day.
Based in Bristol, he covers the South West and beyond. Sam’s philosophy is that couples should be free to enjoy the day, to soak up the atmosphere and to spend time with their friends and family, without worrying about posing for shots. By working in a documentary style he quietly captures natural and unobtrusive images that will instantly take you back to that second in time.
Chris Barber Photography
Fun, fresh and unique, Chris Barber doesn’t do stylized, or stuffy photography. He captures you, being in love, and having fun, being at ease in each other’s company.
If you’re not overly confident in front of a camera, fear not, most of Chris’ work isn’t posed, it’s all about him as the photographer interacting with you the couple, and then capturing on camera everything that happens in between. His work isn’t just for super confident, crazy, extroverts with amazingly quirky weddings – it’s for everyone.
Plus, he loves Freddos – as do the Wedding Ideas team, which makes him a winner in our eyes!
Martin Hill Photography
Martin Hill is a documentary and fine art wedding photographer based in his studio in Taunton, Somerset. Martin carefully takes the time to get to know all his couples, so that when it comes to your wedding day, it’ll feel just like he’s a good friend taking your photo, rather than an intimidating professional.
With over 280 weddings under their belts since they began, you can put your trust in Martin Hill, they know exactly how to capture a natural, stylish lasting memories of your big day.
The Bridal Photographer
The Bridal Photographer – David Bostock has a relaxed and informal style focusing on subtlety. He has won numerous awards from both the Royal Photographic society (LRPS) and the British Press Photographers Association (BPPA).
He is also well known to some of the most exclusive wedding venues in Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire, often working with them for their own photography.
Not only that, but he’s married to none other than Ellie Sanderson of Ellie Sanderson Bridal Boutique.
Elly photographs the way she would want to be photographed – never asking her couples to do anything that she, herself would be uncomfortable doing. It’s more about photographing a wedding as it unfolds, in an unobtrusive manner.
Her style is documentary and editorial in approach, with a creative free spirited and at times quirky, humorous and arty edge, nothing too serious!
