Stationery colour chart - four inspirational themes
We've found super, colour-themed stationery ideas whether you're just starting out or heading off on honeymoon…
Many couples choose a colour theme for their stationery, but aren't sure where to begin so we've decided to help you get started with this colour chart of classic stationery pieces. If you're looking at other colour's (you don't have to stick to traditional colours!), it's still a good idea to create your own colour chart so you've got a visual guide to what you like and don't like.
It's also a good idea to pin your colour chart on a wall you look at regularly and write comments about each theme on it. You'll quickly get an idea of what's working and what's not.

10 top tips…
for super stationery, from kirri at mandalay
1 Family help - Get your friends and family to help with all the arrangements, they will love to be involved and it takes some of the stress away from you.
2 Grab those samples - Wherever you’re buying your stationery, you should be sent a sample. Some stationery companies do charge for samples so bear this in mind!
3 Get in quick - People’s diaries fill up quickly, so make sure you send your invites out about 12 weeks in advance.
4 Save the date - If you’re planning your wedding for a popular date, think about sending out ‘save the date’ cards before your invitations.
5 Invite delight - Make sure your invitations are clear and legible and include all the important elements… your names, the hosts, the venue, time, date and any RSVP details.
6 Do it yourself - If you are competent on a computer, many stationers supply professional designs, which you then assemble at home. You have the added bonus of choosing any colour you want, but keep it sensible!
7 Simply does it - Less is usually more! An eye-catching centrepiece with one or two menus per table, favours, and co-ordinating place cards and napkins will do.
8 Plan for the future - Keep your table plan as a memento and hang it up at home.
9 Right direction - Escort cards are a great alternative to a table plan, which can be changed right up to the last minute. These show every guest just where they need to go.
10 Neat numbers - Make sure table numbers are clearly visible so guests can find their seats quickly.
