1. Fold a white napkin into a perfect square and place a brightly coloured feather in the centre, to create a contemporary and glamorous look that won't break the bank.

2. For a soft, romantic reception look, fold a napkin in half and then roll it up and tie with organza ribbon, creating a big bow. This is a simple and low-key way of co-ordinating the napkins with the rest of your colour scheme.

3. To add a bit more flamboyance to the folded napkin style above, tuck a coloured feather into the organza ribbon and scatter more feathers (or table confetti) around each table setting to tie the look together.

4. Roll up a crisp white linen napkin and tie it with either coloured organza or a satin ribbon and then add a simple card luggage tag with the guest's name written on it.
