Longleat House to host weddings
Longleat House in Wiltshire is to host private weddings for the first time in its 444-year history.
Couples will be able to choose from four unique locations for the ceremony, including the grand surroundings of the 16th century Great Hall, the more intimate atmosphere of Lord Bath’s Banqueting Suite, the opulence of the Green Library or the splendour of the ornate Orangery – with its views across the romantic Love Labyrinth rose garden.
Longleat’s new Wedding Co-ordinator Rachel Sprules said: “We’re delighted to be able to offer couples the opportunity to get married in one of the country’s most historic and spectacular houses for the very first time."
